Biografía del autor Samuel Langhorne Clemens, also known as MARK TWAIN, is America's most famous literary icon. Born in 1835 in Missouri, Twain grew up on the banks of the Mississippi River and worked as a printer's apprentice, a licensed river pilot, and eventually a newspaper reporter for several newspapers all over the United States. Twain began to gain fame when his story, 'The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calavaras County' appeared in the New York Saturday Press on November 18, 1865. He went on to write 28 books and numerous short stories, letters and sketches. MIKE PLOOG is a legendary fantasy artist best known for his haunting work on Marvel's line of horror comics in the 1970s, including Ghost Rider, Man-Thing, and Werewolf By Night. An accomplished visual designer, his work has appeared in the films Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
